A faulty power point is a hazard, hands down. If you are experiencing any of these signs, you should consider having your power point replaced sooner rather than later.
1. Plugs won’t stay in your power point. They slide out or are wobbly.
2. The power point is cracked or damaged.
3. The switch knob is loose, wobbly or not turning on. This means that the switch inside is broken.
4. Sparks, smoke or heat coming out of the power point.
If you are experiencing any of these signs, put tape over the faulty power point so no one uses it until it is fixed.
